- functional groups (students should be able to identify classes of functional group present in a structure)
- naming (make sure u know EVERY substituents and how to deal with subtituents inside substituents)
- optical isomers & chiral centre
- Lewis structure
- combustion and Wurtz reaction
- structural (constitutional isomers)
- and of course....the free radical substitution mechanism.
